MUSIC LOVERS EVERYWHERE

THINGS TO DO IN BROMYARD

There is a full callendar of events on the Bromyard website. This is supported by a dedicated team and is linked to the Towns monthly magazine Off The Record.

WALKERS

We are ideally placed for anyone who wants to go walking. There are footpaths, the Downs and quiet country lanes nearby.  The bus stop is alongside the Mews for one way walks and we are happy to provide packed lunch etc. Routes and events are available via www.bromyard.info and www.visitherefordshire.co.uk

CYCLISTS

We are precisely 300 miles from Lands End on the CTC route. With low traffic density and lots of places to go to it is easy to get around our rural and unspoilt county. Perhaps a little hilly but in my mid 60's I take great pleasure in pottering around on my old Claude Butler. We have pleanty of space for the bikes.

 PLACES TO GO

There are lots within easy distance. The nearest are Bromyard Downs, Moors Meadow garden and nursery, Brockhampton moated house and The Bannut garden.

FISHERMEN and WOMEN

We host regular parties of fishers of the match, coarse and fly variety. If you have not tried this area you have missed out and our hotel is well placed to support you.

MUSIC, DRAMA and POETRY

We in Bromyard are mad about the performing arts, be it theatre, poetry, music or dance. At The Falcon Hotel we actively support this movement in every way we can.

Check www.bromyard.info to find out what is happening in and around our town.

The Mews is frequently used for musical events and rehearsals.

At the Hotel we have the:

   Bromyard Acoustic Jam Session

Every Tuesday

Weekly we host the Bromyard Acoustic Session in the lounge for anyone and everyone to jam usually led by Tony Burt.  We get different people at each session and it is always nice to see new faces. There is no upper or lower limit on age, instrument, music style or ability (we even have a performing poet). These are very successful and great fun so if you can, please come. See Tony's blog on bromyardsession.co.uk .

Regular Dance Evenings

Alternate Sundays during their season, The Falconers Country Dance Club from 8 until 10.30pm with live music and different callers - see their website. Residents and casual participants are always welcome to join in.
